How do I start shooting?
Allow Camera access, choose Tape or Feedback, and use the photo/video selector and shutter. Tap Perform to change Drive, Feedback 1, Feedback 2 and Threshold while the live camera keeps running.
Camera or microphone access is disabled
Open iPhone Settings, find Mare Cam and enable Camera. Microphone access enables sound in videos and audio-reactive effects. You can use the camera without microphone access. Photos permission is used to save copies of captures.
Where are my captures and saved looks?
Captures and personal looks are stored on your iPhone. Open the gallery to view, favourite and share captures. If you allowed saving to Photos, a separate copy is saved there. Deleting a capture in the MARE gallery does not delete its Photos copy or copies shared to another app.
How do I restore Pro?
Use the same Apple account that made the purchase, then choose Restore purchases in Settings or on the Pro screen. An active annual subscription or a valid one-time purchase unlocks Pro. If purchase options are unavailable, check your connection and retry the purchase options.
Annual subscription or one-time purchase?
Both unlock the same Pro features: all nine factory looks, live look editing and unlimited personal looks. The annual plan renews automatically. The one-time option is a non-consumable purchase. Buying the one-time option does not cancel a current annual plan; manage your subscription with Apple.
How do I create a personal look?
With Pro, choose Create Look to start from a fresh patch. Select a category and a starting point in the row beneath it, then use Adjustments for detailed controls. Tap the editor title to name the look and choose Save Look. If you leave the title unchanged, Save Look asks you for a name.
Sharing photos to Instagram
Instagram-ready sharing prepares a photo copy and preserves your original capture. You can change this in Settings → Sharing. Videos are shared without another export compression step. Instagram applies its own processing after upload.
Does MARE upload my footage?
Camera and microphone input are processed on your iPhone. MARE does not upload your footage or use advertising or analytics SDKs. Sharing sends a capture only to the app or recipient you choose through iOS. Read the privacy policy for details.
